Our business is about creating opportunities to fund the construction of critical infrastructure upon which people depend.
Metropolitan applies the proven Inexus model to the low carbon market. We have a long and proven track record of innovation and delivering best value utility infrastructure solutions to leading UK land developers and house builders. We have already designed and built multi-utility infrastructure for more than 500,000 buildings across the UK and have contracts in place to connect a further 200,000 buildings by 2012.
We have a clear focus on where we take value and that is from the long-term use of our assets. All of the remaining value is made available to our clients. This is achieved by the provision of a managed ESCO, enabling you to benefit from the considerable revenue streams associated with the sale of heat, cooling and generated electricity.
Minimal construction costs are assured as we do not take profit on construction. We are happy to design, specify and adopt all assets, leaving you free to select a construction operation. Alternatively, we can carry out the construction using our sister company Connect, the most successful utility infrastructure provider in the UK. 
We also take responsibility for the connection to the host utility network and negotiate the lowest possible non-contestable cost. We have the same asset ownership licences as the host companies, so we are ideally positioned to add value by challenging the cost of their non-contestable works and passing all of the savings onto you.
